I guess I’m learning now that reaching for the hot water faucet at the sink may not be the most unusual happening for many. But it’s never felt more foreign. There are a lot of ‘new’ going on in my life right now. Uncharted territories that I’m more than happy to explore, on most days. Other days I wanna lie on my bed, stare at the ceiling and watch my mind marvel at cool air coming in from the small opening of my window latch. It’s been just over a week since I moved in and I’m still getting used to the funny noises my heater makes. ‘It’s like the sound of rain’ Mr Clark remarks. I could roll on that concept. 

With everything that’s going on, I can’t help but feel like I’m not doing enough. Yet by the time 10pm jogs around the corner, nay, 6pm, I feel like my body has felt the day and the bed is all I yearn for. For now I’m still riding on my jet lag, but really I know it’s my body and this new concept of it getting dark at 5pm learning to get along. I think I’m a pretty adaptable person, so hopefully this phase will pass.

While I’ve seen snow before, never and I mean NEVER have I seen it like this. For every heart tugging experience I’ve had in my life, I’d have to say walking around Boston just after a blizzard makes top ten. It’s… so.. beautiful. And hilarious. I walked out of my apartment on Wednesday and almost pissed myself at the view. It was like God had TPed Boston. It was excellent.

Ok before I start boring you, I’m working on my logo and I’ve decided that this will remain my blog and my music tumblr will be more of my music website or rather the home of all my links haha. We’ll see how this works. We’ll work it out. In the meantime I’m just glad I have you guys along for the ride ;)
